Creativity at its best! No budget constraints! Design kitchen space (up to 500 square feet with optional butler's pantry or wine feature or whatever you imagine) using the client needs below and the floor plan (in the downloadable files tab on contest landing page). Renderings only - NOT a realized project. Must only include currently available appliances, material, etc. (no Sci-Fi food materializers, etc.). The minimum ceiling height is 118 inches up to 168 inches at the maximum. So get creative and vault those ceilings! The Client: Our Conceptual family consists of mixed ethnicity parents and two children. Their teenage son is wheelchair bound and they have a six year old daughter whom is involved in extra curricular activities outside of school. Both parents work full time. Their maternal grandmother lives with them and helps care for the teenage son, and does a lot of cooking, as the daughter has food allergies. They enjoy entertaining, appreciate tidiness, ample storage and want a comfortable and functional gathering space for everything a busy family would need.
